Good morning Owner,

The Trades Titan exists for one reason. To help home service
business owners and marketing pros scale through marketing without the confusion
and build a legacy worth having.

Every week that means one real finding from inside real
contractor accounts. No fluff. No theory. Just what is
actually happening right now and exactly what to do about it.

Last week I walked you through the exact form and language to file a Google Ads fraud refund claim. If you missed it: https://www.thetradestitan.com/p/the-form-google-buries

This week: a free SEO fix that makes your business show up bigger in Google search results. No ads. No redesign. No new reviews.

I was running schema audits on my clients last week.

Pulled one account up and it looked pretty good. Better than most.

But two or three things were missing that would double their visual real estate in search results overnight.

Of course, I added it.

Same day for another client, I dropped a clean schema block onto a new site we had just built for them.

The next day Google calls started coming in.

They were happy. It’s a little change but so worth it.

WHAT IS SCHEMA AND WHY DOES IT MATTER

Schema is a hidden block of code you add to your website.

Your customers never see it. But Google does.

It tells Google exactly what your business is, what cities you serve, how customers rate you, and what questions you answer. Right now, Google is guessing at most of that from your website. Schema removes the guesswork and hands Google the answers directly.

Three things it does for home service companies:

🔍 Gold stars under your listing in search results
Review stars increase click-through rates 20 to 30 percent. That means more people clicking your listing without spending another dollar on ads. You need at least 5 reviews and they need to be visible on your website, not just on Google.

🔍 Map Pack presence in more cities
List every city you serve in the code. Google starts showing you in surrounding markets without a second location or separate ad campaigns.

🔍 Become A listing that takes up the entire first screen on mobile
Add FAQ questions and answers to your homepage. Google shows them as dropdowns under your listing. A homeowner searching on their phone makes a decision in three seconds. Those three seconds are spent reading your answers instead of scanning a list of names.

That is not just more clicks. That is warmer calls.

HOW TO ADD IT IN 20 MINUTES USING AI

You do not have to write code from scratch.

Here is the two-step approach I use for clients.

Step 1: Use Gemini to find your gaps (5 minutes)
Open Gemini. Give it your website URL and ask: "What schema is missing from my site? What cities should I be targeting? What FAQ questions are people searching for in my area?" Gemini is built by Google so it knows exactly what Google's bots are looking for right now.

Step 2: Use Claude to build the code (10 minutes)
Take Gemini's research and paste it into Claude with this prompt: "Generate a complete JSON-LD schema block for a [your trade] business. Include AggregateRating, areaServed for these cities [list them], and an FAQPage with these questions [list them]. Zero syntax errors. Must pass the Google Rich Results test."

Claude hands you clean, ready-to-paste code on the first try.

Step 3: Paste it into your website (5 minutes)
WordPress with Yoast or RankMath → SEO settings → Schema section → paste.
Any other platform → Settings → Header Code → paste.

⚠️ CHECK IT WORKED

After you paste it in, go to search.google.com/test/rich-results and enter your homepage URL. It shows you exactly how your listing will look in search results, including whether the stars appear. Then go to Google Search Console → URL Inspection → Request Indexing to tell Google to crawl your site now.

Stars and FAQ dropdowns can show up within a few days.

💡 TITAN INSIGHT

Most home service companies have a Google Business Profile with stars showing in Maps.

That is not the same as schema stars.

Schema controls the stars that show under your organic search listing, the blue link results. You have to add those manually. They will not appear automatically no matter how many Google reviews you have.

If your listing is a plain blue link right now, this is why.

I wrote the full walkthrough this week including the exact copy-paste code block, where to put it for every website platform, and the complete AI prompt to fill it out in minutes.

That's it for this week.

One code block. Three SEO wins. Zero dollars.

If this helped, forward it to a contractor friend. Most of their competitors haven't done this yet either.

Talk soon,

Paul
